WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades give you an increase in specific stats. Each upgrade boosts the level of the item by +3. A random additional substat is also boosted alongside each upgrade.
The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like Eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are not as valuable for those with lower requirements because of the requirement to roll a perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader enables players to upgrade gear to a higher level by supplying the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapon. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.
You can upgrade your equipment anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader once every couple of weeks to ensure that your equipment is up to date.
Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item, however, they are always less expensive than purchasing new equipment. For instance, upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 levels will cost 20 recycle points, while purchasing the same item from another player will costs 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are useful items that are used to level up weapons, tools, armor, and accessories. Players can purchase them through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners for a variety of currencies. They can also find them in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased it can be used on any weapon or tool with the help of The button will show the preview of an item's next upgrade level if there are enough materials.
Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot of the item and the current level of the item. For instance weapons cost more than bracers, or gloves. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a number of crests, with some upgrades having a discount to lower the cost of the Flightstones or crests used. Once an item is upgraded to a certain amount it is able to be degraded and sold back to the upgrader for a lesser amount of the two currency types.

Crests
